Great Repatriation Movement. Quebec, August 9.—A delegation from Acadia, Maine, will leave tomorrow to visit the district of the Peribonca river with the intention of ultimately founding a settlement there. It is headed by the cure, Rev. Mr. Moisan, and the Mayor, Mr. Dionne. In the event of a migration from Acadia to Peribonca being decided on, Rev. Mr. Moisan will seek permission from his Bishop to become a colonizing missionary, and settling down in the midst of his people will devote himself to their interests and the work of colonization in the district.

Elle est dirigée par le curé, le Rév. M. Moisan, et le maire, M. Dionne. Dans le cas où une migration d’Acadie vers Péribonca serait décidée, le Rév. M. Moisan demandera la permission à son évêque de devenir missionnaire colonisateur, et en s’installant au milieu de son peuple, il se consacrera à leurs intérêts et au travail de colonisation dans le district.
